I +have been making a 40gal USD tank. Finish the top half and join the two tanks together. Looked real good I had let it sit and cure for about 2, and today decided to fill the tank get the venturie pump going and started to fill the top half (USD TANK PART) look good no leaks nothing. I had to go and get some tanks decore, and what would you know ( and after the flood the vandiles caused) the top half must have had come apart from the lower tank. and the venture pump that i had both the inlet and outlet hose's ruinnig up into the USD tank part had sucked and shot the rest of the water all over the floor and all down stars again. I'm still waiting for the poeple that live under me to get home from they're vacation, and really don't want to hear it from the landlord about water all again. So now i am going to order some new sheets of glass and have the local glass cutter cut out the peices to make my third atempt at makeing a usd tank. This kind of stuff happens to much to me and to offten Rolling Eyes

Man you have had some shitty luck! I would just stick to regular tanks and avoid the risk of more water damage.
