oh... you mean KOI fish... lol...

first of all do a huge waterchange on the pond... does it still smell...? gross...

you could put the eggs in a large incubator sock... i use breeding tubs just for the eggs... but since you don't have another setup with a stable filtration system just get or make a breeding sock...

here's one...

oh shit they're expensive...

um... other than that i wouldn't try to incubate the eggs or anything... chances are that they will spawn again very soon... and a average pair of koi lay more than 50,000 eggs at a time... i sometimes have to cull out 3/4'ers of a batch of eggs... that's just way to many fish to house at a time...

i would just say you accomplished something if 2 or three survived...

My stepfather has a pond service who akes care of the water during spawning season. When I was there I only found a few eggs in the surface skimer and they didn't look very good. I think the pond guys through away the best of the bunch. If I am able to aquire some of the next spawn I have an extra tank rhat's cycled which has only snails in it and I think that may do for a hatching and fry tank. I dumped what I had into this tank, but as I said, the eggs didn't look too good.
