| | To bad you weren't able to save your fish. I hate it when I loose fish I always feel guilty and it really bugs me when I don't know what caused it. |

| | Me too. I've lost 18 of the 20 Cardinal Tetras I put into my 35 gallon planted co2 tank. The Ghost shrimp eat them at night I guess. One of the 2 left has no tail fin now too. There's money down the drain. |

| 3 years ago I bought some Neons and put them in a 10 gallon that had several ghost shrimp in it and by the next day they where all gone but 1 of the six I had and there was the ghost shrimp eating one. They were small Neons, but I was surprised that it happened. _________________

| Yea. I thought they would be OK together as well but apparently not. The Ghost shrimp are getting pretty large and the Cardinal tetras were a bit too vulnerable. I still have 2 and maybe these are the smart ones. They're the only color in the tank except for the plants.
Maybe there's another kind of colorful schooling fish I can use instead. |

| That or reduce the number of shrimp in the tank. Danios may be a good fish fast little buggers that are always on the go. Tetras seem to rest in the same area of the tank when the lites go out making them easy to sneak up on. _________________

| | That's the problem with tetras. I like danios and I've had some before but I don't think they'll do well with diskus. I don't have any diskus right now, but I was hoping to get a few for this tank at some point, and when I had danios and diskus together the danios freaked out the diskus as they are always swimming back and forth like crazy. |
