I have found the hard way that the frozen brine shrimp i feed to my fish have been contributing to the cloudiness in my tank. part of it was due to overfeeding. i cut back the amount i fed them and it helped lots but it didn't completely clear up. Then i started thawing out the brine shrimp and rinsing them off before putting in the tank and my tank is crystal clear again and has been for 2 weeks. Go figure.

How big are the cubes of frozen brine shrimp? I'm just curious, because I use frozen bloodworm's and the cubes are the size of a cough drop and I usually only use a half of one for my 29 gallon and use the rest for my other tanks. I thaw it out in a plastic cup and put half in the one tank and spread the rest among the other tanks.

don't use the cubes. i get the big package and try to break off small chunks about a cm. Didn't have the problem with the blood worms just the brine shrimp.
