| The first thing your going to need before you can post a picture is a place to host them on line. Most website providers like Angel fire & Tripod will not let you link to your files on their servers so this type of thing won't work. You need to find a host that specializes in pictures & there are many that are free.

Once you are ready to post your pics. Start your post & when you get to the part of your post where you would like to post your pictures follow these instructions. Many of the hosts I have mentioned above actually give you ready made links to post your pictures in forums such as this. All you have to do is cut & paste.
Then just hit post & as long as you got your picture address correct you will see the picture in the post.
NOTE:Please make sure that all your pix are kept smaller than 600 pixels wide so it doesn't cause they forum to change its size on peoples screen. Also if you could possibly make the pictures as small as possible that would make threads load faster & make surfing much more enjoyable for dial up users. Programs such as Adobe Photoshop have the option to "Save for Web" which shrinks the files size without much change to quality. |
